I became interested in natural tools for mental health through my own journey of healing anxiety, PTSD and depression, all compounded by being a highly sensitive introverted empath.
After working with hundreds of patients as a digestive health specialist, I came to really understand the importance of supporting mood, emotions and ability to manage stress in healing physical ailments, and vice versa. Supporting the physical body can make a dramatic impact on mood and mental health, especially the gut-brain connection.

- Reprogramming subconscious limiting beliefs or stuck negative nervous system grooves (common examples are, “I’m not good enough,” “The world is not safe,” and “There’s something wrong with me / I’m bad because…”)
Most people come to see me for holistic & natural ways to support optimal mental health, and there is a time and a place for pharmaceutical support. I can prescribe some anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications in WA state, and I can help you find another prescriber for these if needed. Otherwise, we can pull from the many naturopathic tools to help you feel like yourself again!
